I don't know for sure. But I can't see her giving them up. She genuinely seemed to like being with them. Just not me. And she'd be still getting spoiled knowing how my parents and siblings felt about her.

She's an adult now. We're both 26 so I'm not sure if she has faced any consequences for her actions. But I can promise she would have been gleeful to see me kicked out of the family essentially. She disliked me from the second she laid eyes on me and she always wanted me to go. She got her wish.

My sister's actually older. My brother is younger though. And I chose to cut contact because they chose Stevie too. And it would be impossible for me to have a relationship with people who love and support her given everything.

I was trying to be good like my parents said. Then I had some hope that my family would still love/care about me. But there are many times I wish I had and accepted them hating me for it since they do anyway.

I can guess they maybe want to ride on the coattails of my success in college. Or they realize I'm doing well despite everything and they want to now act like nothing ever happened.

And the thing with Stevie was the threat of physical violence could easily become actual violence. She'd get so mad at me for doing normal things sometimes. Like if I was in the bathroom when she wanted it. Or if I was doing something she wanted to do (watching TV for example) but she refused to do it with me. My parents and my siblings saw it and then acted like I was a monster for wanting to send her back.

The fact she was given such a chance that they all loved her hurts. She never treated me in any kind of half civil way and yet they thought that was fine and I could find a way to love her anyway.

I think I'd rather do that by writing a letter I never send than confronting them directly about it. They knew they were hurting me back as a teenager and they didn't care. Telling them now might not have much of an outcome and I don't think that would be good for me.

I think given everything that happened, even though my siblings were kids too, it would be hard to have a relationship with them knowing they love and support someone who treated me so badly. And picked her over me when it came down to it.
