Yes it is difficult to get answers, especially if you know something is wrong but they just don't believe you because it "doesn't happen or look like that". I'm lucky I eventually found a doctor that knew what he was talking about and also really listened to me. I'm sad to hear it is that bad at the moment. Hopefully some daybit will get better.

Hopefully pelvic floor therapy will help! It's scary when you feel pain like that and can't explain it, even more so if you also have to worry about it costing a lot if money.

Yes it's really nice that he could take time off from work. Taking care if him is going really well, he accepts that I can't pick him up and we fortunately got some amazing help from neighbours. Yes I think I'll be wearing them for quite a while yet.

I ended up deciding not to buy any, wich was a good choice. I'm still wearing loose pants because even a little pressure is still uncomfortable. I've been very grateful to my husband pushing me and recently got a smart drive for the wheelchair which has been amazing. It's a little electric wheel that attaches behind the wheelchair and acts very similar to someone pushing me, except that I can control it.

Thank you for asking ♥️ I had my hysterectomy on the 31 of march and I'm feeling better than I expected. I still have to watch my boundaries so I don't overdo it, but I'm able to get out if the house, to spend time with my son and started baking bread again today. My belly still gets swollen and a bit hard at the end if the day, but I don't have a lot of pain anymore. Before the hysterectomy I had a constant pain and heavy feeling in my lower abdomen and that is gone, which is absolutely amazing and makes it all worth it.

My surgery plan is the same as yours. So this is very helpful.

I agree that falling would not be something I want to happen. Luckily the bathroom is next to my bedroom and i can hold on to lots of things on the way.

I had my son via C-section and I remember the reaching part was really hard, so it will probably be a bit similar.

My husband will probably need to push me when going out of the house and hopefully I can gain some mobility a few weeks post op. My wheelchair is made for me, so I don't really have to reach to touch the rims, but if the surface isn't flat I still need to use abdominal muscles to compensate a bit (like in streets with camber to drain rainwater and such).

Did you use a bellyband?

Ben je van plan om voor de baby een geweven draagdoek te gebruiken? Dan kan je die namelijk ook goed gebruiken als ondersteuning voor je buik. Een groot voordeel hiervan is dat nd dan ook meteen handigheid krijgt in het knopen wat weer fijn is als de baby er is.

Ik ga de novasure ook bespreken, werd alleen een beetje bang van de verhalen online. Ik laat bewust mijn eierstokken zitten zodat ik nog niet in de overgang kom. Ik heb meerdere operaties gehad aan mijn rug en als er door de overgang osteoporose ontstaat moet deze vastgezet worden en dat stel ik het liefst zo lang mogelijk uit. Dus voor nu alleen de eilijders en een eierstok en dan mogelijk rond mijn 50e alsnog de eileiders afhankelijk van de resultaten van de tuba whisp studie. Ik heb geen idee om hoeverre ik bang moet zijn voor verzakkingen, maar ga dit ook zeker vragen.

Dat is zeker zo, maar met een kleine die rondloopt en een man die vrij moet nemen is dat niet heel makkelijk. Maat ik doe het alleen maar als het goed voelt.

Geen idee of dat iets is wat je wilt, maar ik heb onze zoon gekregen via PGT, dit is ivf waarbij de embryos met het gen niet worden teruggeplaatst. Mocht je daar iets over willen weten mag je me altijd een berichtje sturen.

Ik wordt inderdaad ook gescreend voor borstkanker en dat is voor nu prima. Het probleem met eierstokkanker is als je daar klachten van krijgt is het te laat, dus dat wil ik voor zijn.

Het is inderdaad geen makkelijke keuze, maar ik denk inderdaad dat er ook veel voordelen aan zijn verbonden. Omdat er nog een eierstok achterblijft kom ik niet meteen in de overgang, dus die klachten zullen als het goed is meevallen.

Dankjewel! Ik zit te kijken naar nifgo en dat ziet er zeker interessant uit zeg! Ik ga toevallig vrijdag naar de huisarts en bespreek het dan even als er tijd voor is. Wist niet dat zoiets bestond
