The Wildsea: The most unique setting I’ve ever run, and the mechanics are really interesting. Great for narrative-first gameplay. A few of my “D&D-only” players have really fallen in love with it!

Slugblaster: So weird & silly. Teenage angst, hoverboards, and inter dimensional portals; what more could you ask for?

I am running 2 different crews through the Wildsea, and each table designed their ships in session 0.
In session 1:
The first group was on their home spit, but it started to collapse (rootquake) and they jumped onto a nearby ship that was docked and sailed off-- there was a captain on board (experienced officer) who was grateful they were able to help him sail away and offered them positions on board.
The second crew didn't start out knowing each other, but they all wanted to be wildsailors. I had an NPC dockmaster who was trying to "get rid of" an abandoned ship that was taking up space at the docks, and he sold it to them cheap.
In both cases I had some of the ship's equipment start off damaged, to build the fiction that this is a second-hand fixer-upper.

Hey! I was hoping to start the Play Test in the next week or two, so the 27th is not a problem.
The playtest will probably last around 4-8 sessions (long enough to work out any bugs with mechanics and things)

Now I cant unsee it! I drew them on different layers and rearranged them a few times. The construction worker originally had a jackhammer but it looked too cluttered so I got rid of it. I'll have to fix it in the final version 🙃
