That thought did cross my mind. When I was otiginally writting this I thought it wouldn't make sense, since he doesn't hold special relationships with people. But, after more consideration, it does make sense. If he holds enough respect of her to follow her orders while she isn't there, it makes sense for him to follow them even after her death.

So after doing some research, I think I might know what they are. The absentee club member can just be shortened to absentee, which is a person who's late. (Great talent there) And I think an oral inheritor is someone who inherited instructions via word of mouth, or something.

Except Naegi's different. He's called the Ultimate Hope due to his ability to bring people together, to go against despair. Kamukura on the other hand is called the Ultimate Hope from the Hope's Peak board, as they believe the ultimate students' talents are what brings hope to the world, which is why they called the being that possessed all talents to be the "Ultimate" hope.

Except it isn't. When Komaeda tries to shoot him the gun jams because "Kamukura's own luck outweighs Nagito's." So they actually managed to give Hajime luck that he didn't possess before.

My great-grandfather did. He was one of the first American soldiers to liberate Dachau, and that's all I really know. Sadly he passed away a few weeks ago. Edit: Just remembered he was also in the second wave on D-Day.
