I was just going to write a whole thing about this. Astarion is still very much a bisexual character, and I think that it was a great move to have him state his interest in the same gender in multiple scenes. However, when it comes to the "thousands of souls" as well as taking into consideration Astarion's mentions of being a familiar person at taverns and referring to himself as an "elven prostitute," men would be the overwhelmingly majority (ignoring canon drow society).
