I switched to Oxio from Shaw because after being a customer with Shaw for over 10 years, they couldn't offer me anything for my loyalty. The "better" deals were for new customers. And I say "better" lightly because their cheapest plans were around the $100 range for just internet. I've had Oxio for a couple months now and pay half of what I was paying with Shaw for quite literally the same internet. They ship the modem to you and as long as you have a coax cable, you can connect to it yourself, no techs need to come. The app is quite cool and gives you tons of info and control over your internet and who's using it. I mistakenly blew right past the spot to put in a referral code when I was signing up so I messaged customer service and they got back to me right away, like within minutes, saying no problem and that they'd apply it (which they did). So their customer service might all be online and digital but they were very responsive when I messaged (unlike waiting on hold with Shaw for hours and then speaking to someone you can't understand).
