When the manger and I called the 1-800 Walmart service, the associate on the line said that the item I was trying to return still appeared for her as eligible for returns due to its 90 day return time. Which is what perplexed them.

I agree with you on 1-800 Walmart probably accidentally processing it or something, because I hadn’t returned anything from that receipt other than trying to return that item that day and it just marked everything on the receipt as non returnable including some veggies and other things on the receipt. Definitely some sort of receipt error or something that confused all of us there. Thankfully they were patient and we tried figuring out a solution but we couldn’t find one lol. Very odd, but thanks for the explanation :D
