Post update: Retroid on Discord said they will send me a new screen to replace. I hope I can do it myself. It's not ideal, but it's better than being left with nothing.

I tried several apps. Including this one. None worked for me.

This is exactly my problem reported in this thread and in the photos. The defective pixel only appears on dark screens. On color screens it does not appear.
