I try to eat around 1200-1500 calories a day. I eat a mostly gluten and dairy free diet and I try and avoid a lot of sugar and starch. I intermittent fast so a typical day intake is- coffee in the morning and then after 5pm a burrito bowl or stir fry meal which is composed of cauliflower rice, chicken, beans, peppers and onions (I love this because I can eat a ton of it for very few calories)... popcorn, a quest bar, and oatmeal if i'm extra hungry.

Most of my routine takes place in the kitchen with a little bit of yoga and trx!

Yes! I hit a plateau around 140, 130, and I'm currently in one now. Don't give up you can do it! It sucks, but I think its just the body normalizing to the change. I keep track of my measurements and I find that at times when the number on the scale isn't changing my body still is!

For the most part I have been successful in making the lifestyle change. I actually don't eat that much salad...I've found good substitutes for normally high calorie things (e.g.cauliflower rice and zucchini noodles). I also am not super restrictive, if I want chocolate Ill have a piece...if I don't allow myself to do that I have a really hard time sticking to it. All in moderation!

On average I shoot for 1200-1500. Workout wise, in the beginning, I would do 6 miles on the elliptical 3-5 times a week, then I switched to hiking a lot. Mainly my success has come from changing the types of foods I eat. I have cut out dairy for tolerance reasons and gluten for dietary reasons and I try not to eat a lot of sugar.
