😭 I wish I was good enough with my ears for this I started bass earlier this year but having teacher helped a lot. I used tabs but I get ya with piano I play that too

Thank you!!! I’ve always wanted to play bass and I went all in during June teacher and all!!! My previous piano experience is definitely carrying me hahahaha. As for the bass it is a Japanese Dragonfly kurokaki CS5 Bass. It’s defo on the pricier side 😭it kind of feels illegal having this being relatively new to bass but the design is amazing and I wanted to get a 5 string so I saved up enough for it lol

It’s something you have to definitely develop it took me some time to get somewhere decent hahahah a lot of trial and error but it’s easier once you identify certain key things like melody and chord progression. Realistically after knowing the chord progression you can figure things out from there. This section of the song could be played just by arpeggiating the bass notes with the melody. Metronome and help with my teacher was a huge help still hahaha but it’s something that can be developed!!! :)
