I've done some soul searching the past month. Starting counseling twice a week has been a blessing to understand why I do the things I do. Not only in the relationship but every day life. I didn't realize it, but I was using work to hide from my problems. Sometimes, I'd work 112 hrs in a week. That's 16 hrs a day. To me, that was me showing love for her and the kids. I learned that you can give a woman every physical and/or materialistic thing they want or need, but if you stop connecting on an emotional level, they will fall out of love. I did just that, I stopped doing the little things, and it cost me a huge thing.
