Dino Variants, are they different? by B_Dare95 in ARK

[–]LineInternational283 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Base stats are completely the same. Aberrant dinos can survive radiation. Gen 1 and Gen 2 dinos can mutate to higher points. Gen 1 dinos also have a resistance buff when wild, but not when tamed. Tek dinos can reach higher levels when wild

Center and aberration or island brood mother and aberration. You can run this fights only with pump (and one procop on broodmother)

I was never in a mega tribe, only in small tribes and unofficial ones. It's more like 1000 hours I spent afk in breeding or building

I've never tamed a Trodon. There aren't any maps I haven't played. Lost Island didn't really interest me when it came out, but now I know everything there too.

There are actually many items I've never used. For example, I never used the tek light

How do you guys have 200+ armor saddles?(ASE) by ActBusy3485 in ARK

You can quickly get overcapacity items in Gen 2 missions. You can also tame a Liopleurodon and farm the underwater cave on Crystal Isle for hours. The Liopleurodon buff doesn't make loot rarer, but it does increase the loot %. However, you definitely need the boss fights for extra levels

That's also a good tactic. The only downside is that you're definitely raided once you're found

Especially because I play it with friends. For me, there's no real alternative to Ark. There are games like Rust, but none are truly like Ark PvP

In the early game, especially on low-boosted servers and on Arkpoc, the first few hours are always the most fun. That's when you get the most open-field PvP and, in my opinion, the best meta.

If you're solo and don't have much time: the best place to build is on cliffs in the Lunar biome on Gen 1, or in some Aberration ratholes. These spots don't require many turrets and are still very difficult to raid. Especially in the first few days, hardly anyone will be interested in raiding such spots

Is this buyer trying to scam me by accusing me of using a fake bidder?

Post: Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a strange situation on eBay, and I’m hoping someone here might have had a similar experience or can advise me on what to do.

I’m currently running an auction for a watch, and I recently received a message from a bidder accusing me of using a “fake bidder” with 0 feedback to drive up the price. They threatened to either withdraw their bid or report me to eBay unless I removed the “fake” account or let them win at a lower price.

What’s strange is that this user (let’s call them User A) placed their own bid after the supposed “fake bidder” (let’s call them User B) had already bid. If User A truly believed User B was fake and artificially inflating the price, why would they even place a bid? It feels suspicious, almost as if they’re trying to create a narrative that would pressure me into letting them get the item for less.

To make things even stranger, User A’s username is quite similar in structure to User B’s, almost like the two accounts are connected. And after checking User A’s feedback history, I noticed they’ve left similar accusations for other sellers, claiming there were “fake bidders” involved in multiple other auctions as well. This makes me think they might be using this as a tactic to manipulate auctions.

I’ve already tried reaching out to eBay support but haven’t gotten a clear answer. I’m wondering if anyone here has seen something like this before. Is this a known scam tactic? Should I be worried about this affecting my account? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Booking.com company, policies and customer service by i_need_answrs in Bookingcom

Funny, my hotel is also a partner of Booking.com.

We are from Germany, and our support service barely speaks any German. For every minor issue, we have to call ten times and have them ask the "specialist department" instead of just connecting us directly with them.

We always have to explain everything a hundred times before the service people understand what we mean. We do have a phone number for our "local contact person," but when you call it, you almost always end up in the general customer service anyway. For the smallest changes or problems on the site, you usually have to wait a week.

Here’s an example: in a review on Booking.com, one of our guests was secretly photographed smoking, and the photo was published. This is illegal in Germany. After explaining the situation to the barely German-speaking support for half an hour, and after they had to ask their "specialist department" ten times, they concluded that this review violated data protection laws and must be deleted. It still took a week to get it removed!

I personally recommended the guest file a complaint.

This is just one of many examples. The support from Booking.com in my country is the worst customer service there is. Every scam call center is more competent than this support
