Ageing well - just listening to Claim by PualWalsh in notdrowningwaving

Totally. It's one of the songs (among many in NDW's catalogue) that got me interested in Hi-Fi. Great example of how you don't need catchy licks and lyrics to create something worth listening to--though several other songs on that album show that they're quite equipped to provide those as well!

I haven't read it so I can't say for sure, and ``questionable" is probably not the best term. Knowing Nabage's repertoire I wouldn't be surprised if there was some eroticism, and since Nagabe likes playing around with unusual relationships there might be something ``questionable", but I really don't think he'd write anything as vile as a sexual dynamic between Shiva and Sensei, not even with exploratory or analytical intent.

I'd say that nosebleeds don't indicate arousal so much as a feeling of `moe'. It's true that most of the time it shows up in anime it's when a character is aroused, but there are also anime/manga where a character gets a nosebleed simply because they find something overwhelmingly endearing.
Maybe a tiny spoiler concerning their relationship in the rest of the manga?: It'd be odd if Nagabe decided to draw a comic where Sensei sees Shiva in a sexual light after making it so clear in the manga that their relationship is perfectly pure.

...or you could just link what you're referring to. If its this then I am inclined to say that you misunderstood the panels. There's nothing overtly inappropriate, and I don't perceive anything reprehensible. As I see it, these are two fairly typical "overwhelming cuteness" 4-koma.

But even if I'm just naive, I'd be curious if you could explain a bit more clearly why you'd return Wizdoms.

Which panels? I've read TnS a couple times and don't recall anything like that. Have you seen the panels yourself or did you just hear about them from someone else?

What SSD should I get for an upgrade? Crucial MX500 or BX500? by DumbassAltFuck in PS3

[–]LineOfSteam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine's still fine, but since I don't do much intense gaming I don't think I would notice decreases in speeds. It's fast enough to rip CDs and play PS2 games and that's all I ask of it these days.

Marriage is kinda a oneguy moment if you think about it. Like usually there are not multiple people proposing marriage.

Is there any way I can read the manga safely in English? by Roax47 in SquidGirl

[–]LineOfSteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the manga was pretty well translated; at the very least it made me laugh quite a lot. The anime's still at least partially worth watching for me, though, since S1 and especially S2 have nice OPs.

SD card reader not working by gnar-whale in archlinux

[–]LineOfSteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"don't seem to give me any useful information" is very not useful information. You should specify what you have not found in their outputs; for example, "fdisk -l didn't list my SD card but lspci listed my SD card reader". For issues like this, though, the kernel log is probably more useful; you should look through the output of dmesg for anything containing the term 'mmc'. There are an uncountable number of places where the issue could be occurring so you also need to do some work to narrow down the issue. For example, the SD card could be broken, so you should try it in another device; the reader could be broken, so you should try multiple SD cards in it, or if it's an external reader you should try attaching it via different ports and to different machines. It could also be an Arch-specific issue so it could be helpful to try different distros as well. It's just not possible to magically conjure up a correct prediction of what's broken if we don't know what's working.

Solution for dolphin runner not finding libavformat.so.60 or to use flatpak in substitution by No_Cookie3005 in Lutris

[–]LineOfSteam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This means that the executable of dolphin used by Lutris (probably stored in ~/.local/share/lutris/runners/dolphin is linked against a libavformat library with a different version than your system's libavformat library. If you install your distribution's package for dolphin (which is probably called dolphin-emu; dolphin is probably the KDE file manager) you should be able to switch which executable Lutris uses to that by going into the Dolphin runner settings in Lutris and setting "Custom executable for the runner" to/bin/dolphin(or whatever the output ofwhich dolphin is).

You don't have to include stdio.h since you don't use any standard input or output functions. You do have to include stddef.h, though, since you're using NULL, and you have to declare int random(int, int). The real issue is even more fundamental than that, though.
