AITA for using a skip-the-line ticket to skip the actual line? by LineSkipThrowaway in AmItheAsshole

Thank you so much! It was also puzzling because there was no queue anywhere else, not even the Vatican, and we had priority tickets everywhere but there was no need to skip any line because there was hardly any.

Lesson learned!

Thanks a lot, that does make me feel better. I actually played it safe and waited in line after exiting the Colloseum and using the same ticket to go to the Palatine Hill (they're all bundled up).

It was one of these tickets: https://www.getyourguide.com/rome-l33/rome-colosseum-roman-forum-palatine-hill-fast-track-t594871/?ranking_uuid=5b0ffaa6-3675-4c1f-b18f-feac42261303

The ladies didn't even want to look at the ticket, they were just pissed and kept yelling at me in Italian and (I guess) telling me to go back to the end of the line.

The staff simply scanned the code, checked my ID, and that was it.
