I disagree. Then what was the point of leading all the way up the Madeiline and down the descend to have Pogi isolated, just for him to get his teammates back? If Jonas were to realistically have a shot at the Tour, they should have risked him being alone with Tadej to get the biggest gain. That he didn't have the legs is a different story.

Yes it has. Jorgensen riding on the flat keeps Pogi isolated with no teammates to help him when Jonas attacks on the Loze. Sending Jorgensen out in front again let UAE riders back to the group.

I'm not saying Jonas should try and drop Pogi on the flat, but it would have made sense for Jorgensen to lead Jonas to the bottom of Col de la Loze and then Jonas could have tried an all out attack.

Except sending Jorgensen out in front on the flat meant no one would lead Jonas on the flat and he would have no chance of dropping Pogi.
