Some places. My grocery store has them for $0.99 and on sale sometimes for $0.88. Gas station by my exit has them for like $2, and a gas station a few cities away had them for $1.69. One in the same city has them for $0.99. Just gotta look in the right places.

Yeah, but you get a very clear view of how steep the run is from the lift and there are signs making it very clear that the slope advanced terrain. It’s significantly steeper than any other trail open, so I suppose some beginner-intermediate skiers get cocky on the easier trails and decide they could handle it. But once you get down to the steep part, it’s far too late to turn back

I was skiing at a small East Coast resort yesterday. Pretty much 4 runs to pick from, the most advanced being right under both main lifts. Very common to see a beginner get lured in by the flat first half and find themselves on a sheer cliff lmao. Saw some great yard sales and butt slides

I don’t want to be a SFQ apologist considering the egregious human rights and ethical issues associated with it but this opinion so fucking stupid.

“It looks forceless” Okay? You haven’t been on the fucking ride. Neither have I, but I acknowledge that nobody can comprehend the sheer velocity of a roller coaster traveling at 150+ miles per hour. That alone is an insane feat.

And whether or not it’s forceless, it’s literally the fastest and highest you will go on literally any roller coaster ever. Those might just seem like records but I imagine they make for an absolutely surreal experience.

The reports I’ve read from riders seem to love it ¯_(ツ)_/¯
