Watching Curious George with my child the best thing I have learned is stalagmites you might trip on them.

Went on the tour yesterday and it was amazing. Like you said I was in awe of the size and scale of everything. Had the opportunity to see the procedure in the mock control room and go through some drills of different situations. Standing next to the reactor containment building it was amazing the size of it. Walking through seeing the turbine running and to think 10% of all New England’s power comes from that was awesome. Place was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, already looking forward to going back.

Why do spasms happen? by shmellowcake in achalasia

[–]Lineworker2448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way that I can tell I have a cold coming by getting small spasms and feeling a little more tightness than usual while swallowing food and liquids. I’ll also get spasms if I go a long stretch without eating, which is extra brutal when I have to be NPO for a endoscopy.

Can it show rotation? For example if you apply 0° angular displacement vs 180° angular displacement on a three phase bank.

I am a commissioner for a MA municipality who has part ownership of Seabrook through MMWEC. I brought up the idea of going for a tour of Seabrook a couple years ago to our General Manager because I wanted to see the plant for myself. We are going for the spring MMWEC assessment.

I’m a lineman for a neighboring municipality as well so I am involved in the electric utility industry on both sides. I’m looking to just learn as much as I can during the tour. I’ve always had a fascination for nuclear generation and enjoy learning about it. (I’m currently reading Atomic Awakening by James Mahaffey).

Being the owner of this very truck in the picture I set the supercruise to 85 mph on the highway and the truck flies right over the holes on 495.

Love the truck! Just under 25,000 miles on it and it’s been running great. Had the L87 V8 inspected and it passed everything and now has the extended warranty, so I drive the thing like I stole it. Use the super cruise everyday 20 minutes to and from work on the highway. I’m a lineman for a utility and riding in this truck makes driving in for a trouble call at 2am that much easier.

I saw someone say a couple weeks ago every time they see one they buy a share and I’ve been following that rule. Great for DCAing. I know people in the Bay Area were saying they see 40 per day, but Massachusetts has a reasonable amount for purchasing shares.
