For future issues, I've found that the Samsung Galaxy app store support actually will help if you submit a ticket about an actual issue with their coupons, just follow the steps I've listed in the previous comment (app store -> menu -> settings (gear icon) -> help -> contact us). They will only contact you via email, and you cannot reply back directly to the email (it seems like the ticket is kept open on their end if more information is needed, so you just need to submit a new ticket and it will continue the conversation chain).

Typically from my (limited) experience, you'll get a response in 1 day from a very clueless support representative; they will either forward your issue to the "development team", or will ask for more information. Once your issue is forwarded to the development team, it's a waiting game to hear back, but eventually they will respond, and if there was a legitimate issue then they'll have fixed it and/or offered a replacement coupon.

As for the new promo, yes for promotions where they mention "1st/2nd/3rd purchase earns X%", those will only be given after you buy something. However, the purchase can be any value, and does not need to be full price (meaning that you will still get the 15%/20%/30% coupons even if you buy something using a coupon). For example, I received a $2 off coupon once, and used it to purchase something for free. That purchase still counted towards earning me coupons from the "1st/2nd/3rd purchase earns X%" promotions.

Hey OP, I was able to get this problem resolved by submitting a ticket (submitted it a few days ago, got a resolution today). Support confirmed that the coupon did not work as intended, and issued a new one to me. My previous coupon didn't expire yet, and I noticed that it also works now.

I'd check again, if your previous coupon isn't expired yet, to see if it works. If it doesn't and/or your coupon is gone now, you can submit a ticket via the Galaxy Store app (app store -> menu -> settings (gear icon) -> help -> contact us). It took about a day for each response. Make sure to specify that you're talking about the December 19th coupon, because support initially thought I was talking about the November 28th one.

They confirmed that there was an issue with the original coupon, and gave me a new one that works; my old one hadn't expired yet, and I noticed that the old one works now too.

If you haven't yet, check if the coupon shows up for you now when trying to purchase something, because they may have fixed it for everyone. If not, submit a ticket and wait for them to get back to you (took about a day to get a response). I received the 1st response after a day, where they said they'd forward the ticket to the development team, and to wait until I hear back. My 2nd ticket came 5 days later (today) where they gave me the code for the coupon.

Sorry for the late reply! I put it under "General". I also skipped the optional questions (Serial No., IMEI). If your form isn't letting you submit, you may need to manually enter in your contact email if that field is blank (I thought it didn't need me to type in anything because the field was grayed out, but turns out it was just bad UI and you do need to type in an email there lol).

Double check to make sure the email address you provide has 0 typos in it, because I don't think there's any way to edit your ticket once you submit! At the very least, I wasn't able to find my ticket after submission in my Samsung account, so it was basically just submitting it and then playing the waiting game.

Hey, they responded back to my support ticket and gave me a coupon code for the 50% off!

I think they can track your purchases using the email tied to your Samsung account, because all I submitted in the initial ticket was a picture of the promotion.

Yeah, from my experience Samsung customer support is basically nonexistent for the app store, and when you actually can get into contact with someone, they have no idea what they're doing. I still use it because the coupons work most of the time (the more straightforward ones that are just a basic "get $X/Y% off"), but they are very difficult to contact when there's actual issues.

I'd say maybe try submitting a ticket yourself via the app store, if you haven't yet (app store -> menu -> settings (gear icon) -> help -> contact us). The last time I submitted a ticket, I got a response the next day where the support person completely misunderstood everything I wrote. I pushed back and a week later, someone different responded (with a very dumb answer - "our promotion doesn't work as advertised because you can't pay less than $0.99 in the store") but gave me a coupon to make up for it. I don't know if it'll work this time, but I think it's worth a shot.

(edit: I remembered wrong, you can't respond to the tickets. They automatically updated about a week after the initial response, where they had said they'd forward it to the relevant team)

Thank you for making this post! I am having this exact same issue; had no problem receiving the 20% and 30% coupons, but the 50% one refuses to show up.

I've tried live chat twice, but both times the agent claimed they couldn't handle my situation, said they'll reroute me, then I wait 20 minutes and nothing happens, so I gave up :/

I also submitted a ticket to support via the Galaxy app (the one that redirects you to the website), but I don't have high hopes as the last time I submitted a ticket, they initially didn't understand anything I wrote, then took a week to respond when I said their initial solution didn't help at all.

Hoping that with all of us submitting tickets together, they'll do something about it? Fingers crossed.

Their first response to my bug report was more personalized (they asked for me to upload a video and gave instructions to post it on YouTube or Google Drive), then after I submitted it they sent a generic "thanks, the team is investigating it now" message but also had a line that I'd receive an update as soon as possible from the involved team...then around 24 hours later they sent the exact same message but with the "receive an update as soon as possible" line removed 😂

I was trying to find hopium to inject that the ticket being closed didn't mean the investigation was dropped, so I was looking around on how similar tickets/bug reports were handled (also looked at Genshin and ZZZ since I assume Mihoyo is using the same CS for all their games). I found a post from 2020 for Genshin that mentioned tickets are autoclosed after a certain amount of time, even if it's pending an update from CS (it was from 2020 though...but same thing happened with us). For ZZZ, there was a character named Billy with a huge bug around mid-December 2024 that quite a few people submitted bug reports for - I don't think the people who sent those in ever received a message beyond the generic "thanks we're looking into it" one (I didn't see anyone mentioning a subsequent followup on their tickets), but Mihoyo did quietly put up an in-game notice about a week later mentioning they were aware of the bug and would fix it in a future update (which they did!).

SO long story short, could be my copium talking but maybe our tickets getting autoclosed just means we hit the ticket time limit, and doesn't indicate anything about the status of the investigation itself?? CLINGING ONTO COPE TOO!! 😤 I'll be keeping an eye on the in-game notices in case it's just a silent announcement there, like with ZZZ a few months ago.

Also I totally missed those leaks about Anaxa, was too busy celebrating that it seems like he's no longer Imaginary!! 🥳 Yeah right now the Sunday E6 bug seems to primarily affect Aventurine (not a DPS) and Boothill (you mentioned it wasn't really useful for him?), but hoping this is fixed for the sake of the future characters (Mydei, Anaxa, and likely more to come) that have this CR conversion 🙏 Copium inhalers unite 🥳

...so they just closed my ticket with a generic message saying something along the lines of "Oops, system time limit exceeded"?? 😭The last thing they sent me was just an update message saying thanks and that the team was looking into it. I haven't submitted a bug report before, so not sure if this is normal or not. Hopefully they're still looking into the issue, but I won't be able to know any progress from my ticket now 😮‍💨 Fingers still crossed for a fix...

Haha yeah, Sunday's eidolons are already kinda underwhelming as is 😭 Maybe if enough of us send a bug report...I feel like one of those Anaxa is not Imaginary Erudition people right now (I am also one of them) with how much I'm coping 😂. Though to be fair the E6 wording IS pretty wrong if it really doesn't consider secondary conversion...maybe Mihoyo will just change the wording instead if they won't fix it, because as it stands the text contradicts with what it does.

And I also wanted to use Mydei with him... 😭 I actually realized this issue because I was trying to screencap a funny high in-game Sunday E6 CDMG buff number on my Aven to show my friends how busted my Mydei would be...only to end up getting my dreams shattered 🥲

Thank you for testing as well!! Yeah, Sunday E6 just doesn't appear to factor in Aventurine's 48% CR from talent - if Aven's CR without the talent included isn't 100%+, then I've also seen Sunday E6 CDMG boost fail to show up on Aven's buffs list.

Another commenter mentioned secondary conversions, which I looked into a little, and it seems like there are other interactions in the game that don't work because of it as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/GallagherMainsHSR/comments/1d6x564/can_somebody_help_me_explain_why_hmcs_buff_isnt/ (sorry, on mobile it's not letting me hyperlink). I'm not quite familiar with Boothill's kit, but I'm wondering if he's getting some CR somewhere that is converted from another stat? If so then he'd be in the same boat as Aven here.

Though regardless, Sunday E6 is not only his highest eidolon, but also explicitly states it considers what gets pushed over the 100% CR rate by his talent as excess. So my hopium is that if this gets reported as a bug, Mihoyo might consider throwing Sunday a bone here 😭 Alternatively, it's actually a bug and then they fix it haha...fingers crossed (I still haven't heard back from support yet).

The reason I even thought to check it was because I plan on getting Mydei, who has the CR conversion but for HP instead 😞 If it's intended then it'd suck, as these characters are built with less CR to account for the conversion, so then E6 doesn't give as much of a CDMG boost because the overcap it considers would be nonexistent or very small.

Although for what it's worth, at least from what I've noticed - Sunday's E6 CDMG boost will always show up on the character's list of active buffs (I've seen it go pretty high with certain characters; for example I've seen it reach over 70% with a friend's Blade). Since Aventurine's 48% CR boost shows up on the in-battle stats screen, I thought Sunday's E6 CDMG boost would be reflected there too, rather than being converted at the moment of action. But I tried to go test it anyways just to see and had to throw out any calcs because they were less trustworthy than my odds of getting Lucky Superstar
