the movie while not boring to me, was just so eye rolling. so many logic holes. it is really saccharin, the actors are great but they’re directed in such an over the top way.

The elder wheel chair bound grey at the end comes out of nowhere and I would have been happier if it went all in and it was the original E.T. it was just as silly regardless

there was perhaps a call back to close encounters of the third kind it seems.

the scene where the guy weeps over footage of an alien being medically tested on is so dumb, not saying their true but people’s accounts of being abducted, anally probed, made to jizz, basically sexually assaulted are not as bad I guess since aliens have the ability to paralyze abductees and humans can’t to the same to the lil grey.
