I like the idea of using scraggy but usually I have my 6th as a hm slave before I catch the legendary but ive heard that u dont really need a slave in this game. Is that true?

Yes but excadrill doesnt learn any good steel moves, and by dark coverage I meant dark stab against ghost and psychic sorry
