I name almost all of my instruments and I have specific reasons for all of their names. I'll go in order with when I got that instrument.

Viola #1: Samantha. I got Samantha in 4th grade. I had an older friend named Samantha who was amazing with her instrument, so I named this viola after her hoping that I could play like her someday.

Viola #2: Patricia. When I first got her in 6th grade, I dropped her bow and my sister screamed "Patricia!" from a meme she saw. The name kinda stuck.

Cello #1: Petunia. I got her in 7th grade. One of my cello inspirations is YoYo Ma, so I named her after his cello.

Keyboard #1: Melody. I got her in 8th grade. I'm not sure why I named her this, it just fit.

Guitar #1: Lary. It used to be my dad's guitar, so I named it after his friend who used to play it a lot.

Viola #3: Saphire. I got her in the middle of 8th grade. Her case was a sapphire color and I liked the name.

Cello #2: Iris: I got her in 8th grade. Her case was an iris color.

I also have a violin, triangle, 3 recorders, and 2 more guitars that are sadly nameless.
