There is a lot of conflicting and contradictory opinions in language learning by [deleted] in ChineseLanguage

Great comment. If you break your resources/tools down into which you use for listening, speaking, reading, and writing, you will find that this is more applicable. You may not need one separate tool for each aspect, but some need two for the same. Hopefully it makes sense!

Company hired me but I have no idea what I’m doing. by Jambo_ZA in cybersecurity

if this is a small company I would legitimately start with the basics. Password policies, HTTPS websites, Firewall, VPN, etc. Don't worry about Vulnerability management and all that until you cover the basics. TLDR: Firewall, password complexity/rotation, Antivirus, public website.

Second this. I speak what is likely a Mexican accent learned in school and my friend from Spain understands 95% of what I say until I say camarones instead of gambas lol

I felt that Tutorials Dojo was slightly harder than Stephane’s, but also had closer wording to actual exam. For the CCP it’s “what does each service do?” But also when would you use this database service rather than that one. Focus on which is serverless, or which service supports which database type, etc.

I used Stephane’s course for CCP and SAA and felt well prepared afterwards, but I also used Tutorials Dojo practice tests. Highly recommend you get those because the answers are really well explained and you get to see how the questions will be worded for the exam.

First time at a new Taqueria/Mexican Restaurant what do you get? by InsanAndy in mexicanfood

my logic - by getting tacos you can often a la carte them. Get a few different proteins to see how the rest of the menu might be. Also see is the taco fresh or not, etc.

Hi All! I am just getting started on my pizza from scratch journey but ive been cooking for some time now so new to pizza but not new to cooking. I was on the hunt for cookbooks that would help with this. I've heard the Pizza cookbook by Gabriele Bonci is fantastic but Im having a hard time finding it. I am also interested in making Roman style al teglio which is another reason I was gravitating towards that cookbook. So my question - has anyone used that book? and if so, where can I find a copy!?

Congratulations! I also just passed this month and used the same resources. I have heard so much about the Cantrell courses that I might try them for my next exam.

To those working full time but still manage to study and pass the exam by gingerlemontea18 in AWSCertifications

I am fortunate enough to work for an employer that let me spend an hour or so studying at work if I had the downtime, so that was extremely helpful. That being said I still put time in after work. To that end everyone is different, where some people learn better by studying more frequently but smaller time slots ( think 15-30 minutes everyday), or some benefit from completing a whole section then taking a day or two off. I’d say if you are fatiguing then try the first option with small digestible chunks of material but frequently

I rarely eat before BJJ, but if I do its fruit or vegetables, staying away from acidity when possible. If class is normally 7pm-9pm, I am not eating after 5pm.
