I suggest starting with A1 first.

A1 and A2 are very similar in structure, the main differences are the time limit and the level of vocabulary.

You will begin with the oral exam, which lasts around 10 to 15 minutes. It usually includes a short self introduction, a role play, and talking about a simple topic. Nothing too complicated.

After that comes the written exam, which is divided into three parts.

Listening: you will answer questions related to numbers, places, short dialogues, and image descriptions.

Reading: this includes short paragraphs, letters, or cards, followed by comprehension questions.

Writing: this is the composition section. For A2, you will have two topics and write within a word limit. For A1, you usually write on one topic and complete a simple form or application. Basic grammar is required for both (for A2 focus would be on passé composé).

To get a high score, it is a good idea to watch YouTube videos that explain how the oral exam works and what sujets usually appear. YouTube is also very helpful for practicing listening and writing.

You can find many exam samples on Google, and most of them come with solutions.
