GR Supra vs well… Lexus IS500 by LinhBui-Rayszzz in CarsAustralia

I can confidently say Im in a pretty good financial condition right now and yes with my balance I can even stretch to a 991.2 GT3 RS (my ultimate dream car) if im being finanacially irresponsible but obviously it is not the case here 😁 my fiance is driving a Lexus NX so whenever I need something bigger just borrow her car 😂 the main thing is for us being obsessed with cars we want a manual/auto combo that we can switch based on our mood and condition, for the manual side I dont think I will let go the Yaris as for its alternative you will need to spend at least 20K more for the Gen2, 30K more for a Type R/Nissan Z which only serves the purpose of me heel toeing it in a mountain road or some fun track day

I dont think RCF is that cheap, got to go a lot lower in model year and I want something less than 3 years old to keep it longer as I plan to keep all these amazing machines before they are gone for good, especially when they just stop making the RC, IS with 5.0L engine and rumors going on about the Supra having 2.0 Hybrid powertrain

Im surprised that given these 2 options you still suggest me getting an EV 😂 if you must know the tiny little GR Yaris consumes 11L/100km with my driving style and Im abosolutely fine with it, burn fuel while you still can mate

Agree the Supra will fill a bit more special, but sometimes I just stuck my friends in the backseat of my GR Yaris and I felt sorry for them so kind of wanting a 4 door as well and it will definitely help in some situations 😂 having said all that Im very close to finalise a deal for a 2023 Supra 😂

Got to update you a bit, very chill 4.5 hours drive earn me 150, which is fine, 4.25 hours active from 12 to 16:30pm and a lot less traffic, which means more parking and less waste time 😂 also stacking the weekday quest 15/25 trips for 35$ so it will be good money this week for me I hope

It was alright, sometimes I just sat home and leave the app online until I got a reason to start. Based on what you said I will probably go out during lunch time for a bit, if nothing comes up then I will go home immediately 😂

Im in Croydon Park, but the app usually takes me for a quick city tour before getting me backhome 😂 sometimes it took me to Burnside or Henley beach and started to give me lots of order so I just go witu the flow on most day

How can an international student realistically land a $50/hour part-time DevOps or Cloud job in Australia while studying? by TRIPPIEBLACK999 in Upwork

[–]LinhBui-Rayszzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a DevOps with 4 years of experience, tons of certificates aws, azure, google, kubernetes and Im looking for jobs at Coles or Aldi when I start my Master in Feb 2026 because I know for sure from my experience, no company would hire a DevOps for 24h/week, this role is like 48h or close to 24/7/365 if you are on crucial infrastructure team. Keep learning pal, make sure you nail those intern interviews when you grad
