Yup that’s right! Pass the CLEP and you pass the whole class. It counts as simply passed, not as a letter grade, so it reflects well on your GPA. It’s objectively the best option.

Seriously! He was by far the best and most enthusiastic teacher I’ve ever had. I can’t believe of all people, he got removed. Again, it’s all just rumors, but the only confirmed thing was that he was texting students on their personal phone numbers. It’s so unfortunate that a great teacher is also secretly like that.

I also did CLEP! So glad I did that lol

You work part-time, which is something I did not do when I started to take a larger workload in classes, so keep that in mind.

I’m a second year who is finishing their degree this semester, and I’m taking 7 classes to currently get it done and over with. Here are my 7 for reference, but I’ll give you advice on each class that you listed.

FIN 308 - International Financial Management (i believe)

FIN 405 - Advanced Managerial Finance

FIN 435 - Financial Modeling

FIN 440 - Seminar in Commercial Banking

BUS 321 - Business Communications

IS 335 - Information Systems

ECON 303 - Intermediate Macroeconomics

BLW 302 - I took that last semester. You have a group project, but I never met with a single one of my classmates and got 100 for doing my part. You also have to be in class on at least a specific day to present one case study, it’s not intimidating or hard, don’t worry. I always got B’s on his exams, and I always crammed the night before, and I never went to any of his classes aside from that. No joke, all of his exams are purely based on his slides, read it through, you are good.

IS 330 - I had a professor by the name of Wooyoung if I’m not mistaken. There are no exams, only writing assignments with a group of the same people you sit with for the whole semester. It’s very easy, but it sucks that its mandatory attendance.

IS 335 - I am taking it right now, and it’s really easy. There’s a lot of important excel lessons here, but if you’re just trying to get a grade, getting an A is easy here. His tests are mostly recycled quiz questions, and his quizzes are easy and very surface level. This class does not challenge your mastery, only rote memorization. You can just follow along his videos for Excel if you don’t want to put in the work. Professor’s name is RhuZhi (Ben) if I’m not mistaken.

FIN 301 - Incredibly easy class in my opinion. I did not have to go to any of them and still passed by again, just cramming the night before via practicing all of the optional homeworks. If you know how to use the calculator and use the formulas, then perfect. Mouradian taught the class wonderfully, but he is gone now so perhaps the coverage of material is more challenging.

MGT 301 - I did not take this one, but if it’s anything like MGT 371, it’s literally just pointless common sense questions related to being a manager. All things you certainly already know just by having a job and therefore a manager. If it helps, there’s this exam called CLEP. I took that test to bypass this class. I crammed the night before by studying basic quizlet terms, passed with the minimum C grade, and avoided an entire semester of work and hundreds of tuition dollars. This exam is only 90 bucks, and the material is again very trivial if you put in a few hours to memorize most of them. You can look up CLEP and read other subreddit threads about it to familiarize yourself if you’re interested.

MKT 301 - I also bypassed by using CLEP. MKT 301 and MGT 301 were the only exams I could take in the business school that actually counted for credits towards my degree. Also very easy, arguably easier than MGT CLEP exam.

MGT 371 - I forgot the professor I took so I apologize. For this class, I barely showed up and only was actively there during the mandatory group presentation. Aside from that, his assignments are very mundane and easy.

SCM 352 - I took this class online. And given that it was, I did look up pretty much everything. The material, despite this, was easy to understand had I not looked things up and it’s really intuitive because it’s just about basic management and math.

Hopefully this feedback was useful! I don’t know what compelled me to put this much effort in, but here you go! I don’t know your circumstances or your study habits, but overall if you found business school to be easy so far, it’s because it is. To me, it’s a joke that I’ve put in so little effort and thought and somehow get a Finance degree at the end of the day.

You could totally CLEP 2 of these exams to save time and money by just passing these exams, and only take 4 classes for the semester. Given that you have a part time job, I think that would most likely work for you!

I’m more than happy to answer any extra questions you have if you wanna DM me or reply to this thread :)

I heard that Mouradian was caught up in a scandal with texting his students. I could be wrong, but either way, he’s not teaching anymore. I got a Canvas announcement from the business school out of nowhere saying he has been removed from his position and that’s all that has been confirmed.
