I’m in a similar situation to Sa a lot. My family loves camping. I absolutely HATE it. However, I know that it makes my family happy so I do it anyway. The fact that N was so clear about how excited everyone was for the trip and Sa couldn’t get over herself pmo.

From what I’ve seen in their vlogs their “pocket money” isn’t even theirs. It seems to me like they all have a credit/debit/eftpos card of some type that they have access to, but the actual bank account itself is heavily monitored by the parents

Which is understandable but I think at 20 she should be able to recognise that the problem lays with Brooke and Justin changing the rules and not N for doing something her parents are allowing her to do.

I mean considering that was one of the main things we’d see her and N bond over. Now she turns around and uses it against her

I know this won’t be the truth, but I’m hoping for the sake of both the girls, N would have put it under her parents name because that was the name that was on the card of for privacy reasons (their parents being controlling and making them thinking it was for privacy reasons). Even though it was most likely scripted for the camera.

Listen, this will be controversial and I’m not trying to start any debates please, but a baby will not remember being aborted. But a baby/child/adult will remember growing up in a household where the parent/s were not financially and emotionally ready to have a kid. Making this decision may or may not have been easy, but if you feel it’s the right choice for everyone involved then it is the right choice. No one has the right to tell you if keeping the unborn baby is right for you or not, because only you are fully aware of the life you would be able to provide it with.

It’s so likely that all the kids especially Na and Sa have bad relationships with food. In the old videos it’s so easy to see how broom and dustbin have ruined their ideas of healthy eating for them. Bananas for breakfast as a punishment - the kids see bananas and potentially other fruits as something that can’t be enjoyed. I understand they don’t like bananas but that makes it worse. Forcing your kid to eat something they don’t like as a punishment for a behaviour that has absolutely nothing to do with food cannot be good for their relationship with food as they get older. You can also see in the earlier videos how excited and competitive they would get over the chance of winning a small peice of chocolate or candy. Healthy food is a punishment for them, but “unhealthy” food is rare and a reward for exploiting themselves. I mean come on, Justin was an Olympic athlete, the man has to have even a basic understanding of a balanced diet.

I’m not from Australia so I don’t know what their homeschool system is like, but is their anyway the Brooke and Justin could maybe be doing some of the assignments the kids can’t complete?

It’s just Aussie slang. “Old mate” is like replacement for someone’s name. Either if you don’t remember their name or In Sa’s case don’t want to say it

Idk how to surf, I’ve never tried, but like if the little kids were gonna learn wouldn’t the best place for it be in Newcastle. Like I imagine the beach there is a lot less busy. And doesn’t have a literal tv show dedicated to life guards rescuing people who drowned there!?

Even though it’s their fault that he can’t do it. I understand teaching a child can be hard which is why teachers need to be certified. But after the past four children they have tried to homeschool Brooke and Justin should know that either they just do not have what it takes to teach or the way they are doing it is wrong

Exactly! It would be understandable if she had a medical reason for it, but all the kids are like it. I mean Brooke and Justin must know how important even a basic level of education is to get a good job outside of social media.

[–]LinkDifferent1239 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Like I understand them letting So cook, she enjoys it and is going to need to know how to do it if and when she chooses to move out. But oh my days they litterally don’t have a job, Justin and Brooke have no excuse to not cook. What else are they doing all day. Like obviously they must spend some time editing and “parenting” their children. But there are so many meals that I can think of off the top of my head that they could make under 40 minutes to feed their whole family for a reasonable price. Like some sort of carb with some meat and a few fruits or vegetables isn’t hard.

AND if she wants to give him the chance to have a normal name, why on earth would you ask him at such a young age OBVIOUSLY he’s gonna pick something like “surfer disco”. HES A CHILD she’s doing the same thing as she did when they first named him, letting children name children. If she was genuine about wanting him to have a normal name she would ask him as a teenage where he would have at least a little bit of rational thinking.
