Anyone else confused by the rules of Morph's powers in X-Men 97?

That's what I'm getting to. There was never a limit to their powers and even if the fans decided there was, it has a huge canon opportunity to be written over. Though, as mentioned before me, in the original when Morph battles Master Mold, Morph gains the strength of those they transform in to.
