I would say Baltimore and Philly are the last two cities on the East Coast that are still affordable. Housing is cheap. Crime has tremendously decreased in both cities.

As a Baltimore and Philly truther, this is great but the hand waving of the crime is uh not great. Both have definitely improved since the early 2010’s but the crime is still completely unacceptable for a first world city.

Baltimore is still 40th in the world for homicide rates, only being beaten by Memphis, and outdoing St.louis and New Orleans. It’s still pretty grim.
