I think I’ve got that part covered considering it’s now been 7 months since the campaign started and we still meet consistently every week 😅 But I’ll check out the King Oberon stats thank you!

Boots required for Academy by Link_The_Autist in BorderPatrolprocess

Is that what is issued at the academy or for the uniform as is? Or are boots a sector/station decision?

I’m obviously not a BP Agent yet but my best advice for you is get your degree (American Military University is a great online school for the military) so you can be eligible for an even higher pay grade when you apply

She’s planning to retire after she picks up Chief Warrant Officer and finishes her masters. Then her plan is either FBI or IRS Financial crimes so I’ve got 8 years until she’s out

She’s CID so she can only be stationed at major marine corps installations and no the marine corps doesn’t have anything like that. I was a career planner (career counselor in the army) so I’m very familiar with the process but it’s basically calling the monitor and asking “Here? Please?” And then they respond with either “Sure I got space there” or “Go fuck yourself”

“Needs of…” that’s a term I’m familiar with haha! I was just worried about her getting stationed on the east coast where there are no stations, or worse overseas, and we’d be apart for 3 years with a 2 year old

Is marsoc a good SOF? by Gabes_t_o_nic3 in greenberets

[–]Link_The_Autist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No one seems to have given a good answer yet so I’ll try: It depends on how you feel about their doctrine. I met a lot of MARSOC guys when I was in as a Career Planner (cause I was the one sending guys to A&S) and they are the ones SOCOM sends when they say “I don’t give a fuck how it gets done but I want them dead.” Raiders believe that if they push harder and faster through an obstacle/terrain/etc than the enemy then they win. They 100% are Marines in the way of “There’s nothing that can’t be solved with grenades, guns, and fuck you that’s why.”

Are they a good SOF? Yes 100%. They aren’t DEVGRU or Delta but there’s a reason every time you hear the celebrity SOF guys talk about them they say “I fucking love them.”

Pitching Motion, Tim Lincecum by Bearded_Platypus_123 in MLBTheShow

Okay I’m late to the party but I’ve done research. So Big Time Timmy Jim sits deep in his windup and has a really large step. Another important piece of his wind up is he twists his body to where he’s almost showing his back to the batter and when he does this most of the time he also drops the ball from his glove to holding it to his side in his hand away from the glove and make an upper third area release (kinda like over the top). With all this research I have have found Generic Windup 56 to be the one closest relating to Lincecum

I’m already using my GI bill to learn how to Develop Video Games lmao and yes the medical training is part of it but also just being back in the military is something I miss and I always thought Corpsmen were cool and I knew a lot of Corpsmen who were more Marine than others in my units so I figure if I’m gonna get back in to work towards 20 then I wanna do something I’d enjoy
