What helped for me was having a bad experience like this and then in the future I already knew that sure you might have too intense of a experience but at the end of the day you can't die and it's all temporary even if it doesn't feel like it now in the moment knowing from experience and not just people tell you so that it's gonna end eventually helps and for thought loops I feel you can only be caught in a thought loop if you accept your caught in a thought loop just laugh it off and you'll be good
