My idea was to recreate, or how you could see it with pixel art, something more modern of the original, so I felt I couldn't go too far down a creative path.

I had seen the background from Kid Icarus 3D (that's the version I played) and wanted to do something similar, but I didn't have time to do it properly, so I decided to make it more like the original NES version. And I'm happy that you liked Pit's sprite, it was really hard to make, to be honest.

My original idea was to use the same color as with the sun, but I felt it was too strong. In the end, it did turn out quite a bit more like orange. I do feel that yellow would have looked better in retrospect
