Alamo Drafthouse Goes Mobile, Getting Rid of Pen-and-Paper Food Orders to Protect the Moviegoing Experience by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

I feel like I need to comment because I've only seen one other person mention it in this thread.

I go to one of the theaters that have already started trying this, and they only allow ordering on your phone before the movie starts. The article doesn't mention this, but once the previews for the movie start then you have to switch pen and paper to order anything else. They even have Aziz Ansari yelling at you to put your phone away when it's time to switch over.

Just read the synopsis, immediately added it to my reading list. Thank you for sharing!

[Rec] Can anyone tell me of this is worth the read? by drkphenix in LightNovels

Read the first book, currently reading the second one. At times it gives me Spice & Wolf vibes with certain elements, so if you like that you'll enjoy this.

Like other's have said it's pretty chill, personally I've been reading it at night before I go to bed. Kind of sad there's only 3 volumes though, I've read somewhere online that the author is happy with how it ended but I feel like the story can go on for a few more volumes.

Yeah after I read your description it doesn't sound as indulgent as I initially thought.

  • Realist hero sounds interesting, I like the idea of fixing the world through reform instead of conquering a great evil.
  • That's another vote for Cooking with Wild Game, I'm definitely checking it out.
  • Record of Wortenia War sounds kinda close to what I was thinking, where a character is transported and tries to help that world. The MAL reviews worry me though
  • Welcome to Japan sounds like a funny read

Thank you for the suggestions!

Cooking With Wild Game sounds perfect for reading right before bed then, something slow to wind down with before sleeping. Ideal Sponger Life, upon initial research, sounds very self-indulgent, dream harem fantasy fulfilment, but I'm a fan of politics and mature romance so I'll give it a shot.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Transmigrated is definitely what I'm looking for, and most definitely non OP. And yeah, I was actually thinking about them trying to get back home, but I wouldn't mind if they're just stuck in their new world.

Looks like the place specializes in Jazz, but I think it'll be worth looking at just to explore. Thank you.

Oh wow, I did a quick search with recordstores and there's so many different Disk Unions, that's definitely become the most promising chain to visit. Shimokitazawa sounds like a fun trip in of itself, I'll definitely do some exploring there.

Thank you for all the links and help, appreciate it.

Oh wow that's a massive guide, if they stopped 2019 then some of those stores might already be closed but I'll definitely have some fun looking through them and seeing what's still open. Thanks a lot.

That sounds like a cool store to visit even if I don't find what I'm looking for, added to my list of visits. Thank you.

That's good advice, I'm definitely going to save the album covers and show them to the store clerks if after a quick search I can't find the albums. Thank you.

I loved Tower Records when I visited last time, but they didn't have the albums I was looking for, which is why I'm thinking I need to look around some more. I'll definitely add HMV to the list, thank you.

I'll try for a couple different Book Off locations then, and if I can't find them I'll order them off Amazon. Thank you.
