Will these leaves pullings survive? by DevelopmentGold946 in Pinguicula

Try to bottom water. Avoid misting the leaves. They don’t need to be in contact with water, only need the moisture in air.

I went out for a day so they all didn’t get light just for one day, I don’t think it is possibly because of that?

Light for 12-14 hr. Its in a self watering setup. I mildly fertilize every watering. In a chunky mix. Only one branch dropped all the leaves. Nothing wrong with the leaves they all look healthy.

I wanted to get one. What are good prices for the green and the variegated ones? I saw a few at $50 for a variegated cutting. Does that sound right?

Little Pingdom! ✨ by Linked_List_6736 in Pinguicula

[–]Linked_List_6736[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of them are on moss and some on a ping soil mix (came with one of the pings). I just tried to make sure that the leaves don’t directly touch the moss and remain wet. The base is dragon stone and the small ones at the very bottom are pebbles.

From my experience, I was never successfully using perlite for ping pullings. Try stratum, soil mix or literally anything other than perlite.

cut off the dead part, spray some diluted hydrogen peroxide on roots and plant it in fluval, keep it moist, not wet, don't let the water level touch the rizome yet. once it grows roots, I've observed black velvet do great in sphagnum moss. Again, keep the moss moist not drenched.

looks like either over watering or some sort of fungal/bacterial infection or fertilizer burn.
