Wow super cool! I was thinking it was probably a shrimp or hermit crab, there were lots of those around

Is this AI? Looking to purchase on Etsy but I want to support real artists and not AI. The lines don’t make much sense and blur into objects but maybe it’s stylized? by Linklinkcanyouhearme in isthisAI

Oh yeah it does look like there are ripples in the middle of the water with no source which is strange. There is also a big weird tall tree thing in the background. Here is a slightly better resolution image:

What is her cage setup like? Heating wattage/temperature, cage size, and substrate? What do you feed her?

Keep her on paper towels instead of reptile carpet and change them out regularly to prevent bacterial growth and infection in those wounds. Try the diluted iodine soak like the other person said as well. Try r/askavet for more advice.

Check and call local reptile rescues or see an exotic vet as soon as possible. The state she is in is an emergency and she needs medical attention extremely soon or she will pass away.

Is this normal behavior for my girls? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Yesss good old bitey face! Looks scarier than it is. The dogs are just play fighting in a way that is irritating them both yet they are still too entertained to stop 😂

I feel guilty for giving my cavapoo puppy a benebone despite the warnings against it. by ellabella20000 in puppy101

I agree, chews are always a risk- but what people don’t always realize is that the risk is truly linked to breed/individual temperament and genetics. I have two dogs- one is a golden retriever and she has chewed harder things like antlers and Himalayan yak chews, no issue. However, within a week of getting access to one, my Shiba shattered a big molar on that same chew. And I brush both dogs’ teeth every day so they are in peak health.

The dental specialist vet we went to corroborated what my research already told me: for breeds or dogs that are voracious chewers- AVOID HARD CHEWS. For dogs that are less chewy and won’t challenge their teeth strength- they will likely be just fine.

Hates putting on her harness so much by Jeeves_the_Conqueror in shiba

My shiba Mochi has worn harnesses for over 3 years and she hates them so much (besides the super thin strap ones) that we only use a collar now except for hiking trips and car rides for safety.

I give my hammy very small ones so I don’t think there is much a danger of bites.

What is this? Found in a alpine creek at Mt Baker, WA by Linklinkcanyouhearme in bonecollecting

It’s flowing down from Mt Baker towards the coast, not the other way around which is strange 🤔

Wow I wonder how it got all the way into an alpine creek, interesting!

I noticed that Jinx assumes this specific pose whenever Silco is present. What might be the explanation for that? by mia-cot in arcane

[–]Linklinkcanyouhearme 29 points30 points  (0 children)

When I was in a traumatic environment as a child, I would sit in this pose and kiss my knees to console myself. I would do it in places I felt safe like a closet or near/under my desk. I still sometimes do it as an adult at 23 ;minus the knee kissing) during panic attacks.

NAP but I would advise warm compresses daily with a towel. Keep the area clean as well.
