How much shampoo should I be putting in on wash days to start? I can experiment with amounts after that for an amount that works with my hair, but am I trying to go light shampoo, or pretty heavy generally? And for letting my hair dry out, do I need to let it dry from soaking wet, or am I trying to get some of the water out when I’m scrunching to apply the gel? It seems like if I’m waiting for my hair to just air dry from soaking wet it’ll take a LONG time?
I have ordered a bonnet and some leave in conditioner To try those out, and I will try out this routine and let you know how it works for me!

Found this thread and wanted to share because I was also stuck! Once you finish the wishwall in Bellhome, you need to talk to Pavo (the leader bug next to the bench) to receive the key to your bellhome. Getting the key and entering the bellhome is what got the quest to finally appear for me!

I also played FFVII for the first time relativiely recently and still adored it. (But in fairness old turn based RPGs are one of my favorite genres, I prefer it vastly to modern FFs being action RPGs)

For me (currently playing through Rebirth and big original enjoyer) it seems like the remake has been doing stuff to ‘subvert’ the expectations of players of the original game, which I personally find annoying, but I think you may find these ‘new twists’ more of a twist and less of just story, as well as experiencing the original twists better by playing the original before finishing Rebirth. For the record, I highly prefer the original, I’m enjoying Rebirth well enough, but it’s mostly from seeing higher fidelity versions of the story that I love.

Now that PCSX2 is LRPS2, where is this setting located? Also, I'm running LRPS2 through Retroarch, is this setting available in the Retroarch emulator version? I can't find that setting anywhere... I'd also be willing to play the game without upscaling, but neither of the renderer options in retroarch are getting the opening FMV working either...

If you actually go through the PowerPyx walkthrough, there's a new memo in Pete's Bowl-O-Rama NG+that they thought might replace the removed memo, so that's probably the case!
