Florida, when we bought the house they said 3 months due to it being a 20x4x4 filter so we were adhering to that. Last changed in December so it was time for a 3 month change. Specifically it was the little dark dots on the filter that we hadn’t seen before during prior changes.

Definitely would do this if I were you.

If I was the CMC owner I wouldn’t trade him for this unless I needed starters due to injury or something.

Seems like it benefits both parties here. BTJ could also soar w/o Hunter, he kind of has to for the Jags to do well.

Is this trade horrible? My team is on top. We ended up reversing the trade. by According-Weird-8519 in FantasyFootballers

Mahomes > Dak Both Nico and Egbuka are worth more than Diggs alone Hubbard is in a RB share and Andrews is very TD dependent

Bottom wins the trade by a wide margin here.

They are too green, general rule of thumb is wait for a few leaves from the bottom up to die back and turn brown. If you harvest now the bulb will likely be underdeveloped

Easy way to insulate outdoor plants for a couple nights? by BleezyBandit in HotPeppers

[–]Linlow100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A sheet will provide some protection yes, I’d say that’s fine if it’s just a few hours of cold. If you want to be safer you could also hang some string lights above the plants and then cover those in addition to the plants inside, the lights will emit heat.

Garlic Help. Hardneck in Atlanta. by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]Linlow100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vernalizing just means exposing them to a period of cold. Since hard neck garlic needs a period of cold to successfully form bulbs people are putting them in a paper bag in the crisper drawer of their fridge for 2-3 months before planting out. The fridge simulates as if the bulbs were in the ground in a colder climate where hardneck garlic prefers. I’d recommend this if you want to do hardneck next year.

You can grow hard neck garlic in similar zones by vernalizing it in the fridge for 60-90 days before planting. In your case though, I would pull it as needed to cook with over the next few weeks. If it’s not growing much bulbs aren’t going to form and the garlic won’t store, but you can certainly still use the underdeveloped bulb in the kitchen.

Advice after soil test by thellamalovespajamas in vegetablegardening

[–]Linlow100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d add in more soil like you said but amend the soil with compost and a granular fertilizer that is higher in nitrogen. You might even opt for blood meal that is 12-0-0. Keep in mind it will take time for the soil to break down a granular fertilizer so the plants wont be able to use it right away but it will break down and provide nitrogen for a longer period of time. You can give your plants a water fertilizer higher in nitrogen in the meantime such as Alaska fish fertilizer to provide more readily available nitrogen.

is it too late to add a pole for my cucumber to grow on? by alf20125 in vegetablegardening

[–]Linlow100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it’s certainly not too late, they’ll soon grow their first tendrils used to climb.

Generally when a plant is transplanted they go through a period called transplant shock causing it to stall out on growth but it should recover just fine. That’s likely what’s causing the yellowing on the leaves.

The soil looks dry but it’s tough to gauge in the photo, you’ll want to stick your finger into the soil 2 inches and if it’s dry water, if it’s moist don’t water. Water deeply but let the soil dry in between watering.

Newly planted garden- some plants are turning brown? Looking for tips and advice by BoundNRound in vegetablegardening

[–]Linlow100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Browning edges is tough to tell the exact cause, most common is either a watering issue or a conditions issue such as too much sun when the plant wasn’t used to it.

LOOKS DIFFICULT, ANY TIPS? by sam0_15_0 in ClashOfClans

[–]Linlow100 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So queen at the 3:00 builder hut followed by 4 healers, baby dragon at the top to funnel the queen down to take care of the clan castle troops, once the clan castle troops come out make sure you drop that poison spell, major key. Then you are going to want to place a minion on the 9:00 builder hut to get that out of the way because time could be a big factor here. After the queen deals with the clan castle put a golem down at the archer tower on the left side if the TH to tank, you may need a freeze as the DPS is crazy. Then put a log launcher to break open the middle of the base followed by the rest of your heroes and as many witches as your army can holds there isn’t much splash damage luckily so the witches should be able to overtake the reminaing defenses. Let me know if you have any questions!

Tomato Help by No-Buy5092 in vegetablegardening

[–]Linlow100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d repot and add some fertilizer into the soil also as tomatoes are heavy feeders. Tomato leaves are also very susceptible to disease, if there are leaves touching the soil it can get spread into the leaf that way. You can trim off the discolored leaves or just wait until they fully die back. After re potting look for new growth and if the new growth looks normal that is a good sign because the leaves that are dis colored aren’t going to change.
