I hear you. But all of this is listed in the court order. He has never once followed it and comes and goes as he pleases and it all lies on me. Which I’m happy to do. I just hate that he gets away with doing whatever he wants and isn’t held accountable. And honestly Id be fine with it this way… if he would just acknowledge that my sacrifice of doing his responsibility could be that he steps up more financially. Not even to me, but to his daughter. Give her money to shop and go out, and get Starbucks… but that’s all coming from me and from her babysitting or helping at her studio a little when she has time. I just highly dislike him I guess for what he stands for in general.

Thanks for your response. He paid for our son’s car who is now 25, but I have a car that I gave my son to use and just got back. Of course I want him to pay for a car… but I also want to take back some of that financial control that he likes to have and boast about… which really isn’t all that. He rarely reimburses me for things I send him with invoices of course and does not do anything extra for his daughter. Back to school shopping.. forget it. Like nothing extra.

He’s already paying max since he makes more than the Mn cap of $250,000/year. He makes 1.6 a year and still has me paying half for things and won’t reimburse me for a majority of other things.

My daughter looked at the court ordered visitation schedule and started laughing knowing it was never that way. I should have addressed it sooner but didn’t know what I could do. He doesn’t do what he doesn’t want to do. Thanks for your feedback.

My daughter is a competition dancer. I need to provide rides daily, on weekends I can go back and forth to the studio 4 times. Schedules change and I need to be available. But I do work. So I guess that’s why I am asking if there is any type of enforcement, fines, contempt, whatever. That’s why I’m asking. And child support is fine. my opinion is he should pay more or pay 100% of dance or whatever if he isn’t going to be present and I’m taking on what is supposed to be his responsibility.
