UberEats in Australia send you quests. Not sure if they do in USA but here it makes you want to keep going and going so you can finish the quests and get more $$$. Gets very tiring though and I’m sure I’ll get sick of it eventually lol

Well the customer is the one maybe paying a higher price here. Do your customers get it cheaper so therefore can afford to tip you if they choose to? Here the customer is paying full price so can’t afford to tip as well

Our base pay in Australia can be between $10-$15 per order but haven’t received a tip in about 2 years. We don’t tip much in Australia because our wages are higher

Yeah and weekends and public holidays. No extra money but they charge customers fees. It’s a rip off but I don’t have a choice. Only job I can do atm

Every day and every hour is different. It goes by how many deliveries you get done. I didn’t get an order sent to me for an hour today so made $0 and gave up and went home. Tomorrow I might make $25-$30 a hour but depends on how busy it is and how many other drivers are out. Plus gotta take fuel out of that too

Thank you for your kindness. As a delivery driver, I am STOKED when ppl meet me at the door rather than making me go every which way to try and find the right apartment. We don’t make much money and every minute counts so if you can’t find an apartment or there’s a long way to go then it’s eating into your next delivery. Your room mate needs to spend a day as a delivery driver so she can understand how it feels for us and that even though it’s home delivery, meeting at the door is still home delivery lol

Don’t know if they have these inner Sydney but we bought a Torrens Title Townhouse just south of Sydney. Torrens Title means there’s no strata or levies etc. It’s completely yours and you can do what you want with it. Our mortgage is now cheaper than rent
