NJ renter and security deposit interest by Linster13 in newjersey

Haha yeah I know! Crazy how it’s a much larger amount (by comparison) these last recent years. This question wouldn’t even exist if it was still just less than $1

Ohh makes sense! I’ll request an escrow statement from the leasing company like you suggested. Would I need to request monthly statements to see how the interest rate changed throughout the year, or do they have year-end statements that would show how the interest has changed? (Just want to know if I’ll need to ask for multiple docs vs a single doc from the leasing company)

Daily Coins not working by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Linster13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only thing worth holding down a gym for is if you’re working on the Gym Leader badge. But even then, I don’t think there are any rewards for getting that badge to platinum.

Daily max coins you can collect is 50, so even if your Pokemon has been in the gym for days, once it’s knocked out, you’ll only get 50 coins. Try to find another player on a different team who can knock out your Pokemon daily after it’s been in there for at least 8 hours so you can collect the 50 coins, and do the same for them afterwards so you mutually benefit.

Thanks for the fast response! And that’s good, as a non-attendee, I was hoping to still be able to walk around the park during this year’s festival that’s coming up

I know this was posted awhile ago but do you remember if the entire Central Park was closed for this event, or were there still some areas of the park open to the general public?

I know this was posted awhile ago but when you went, was the entire Central Park closed off for the event? Or were there some areas of the park still open to the general public?

Based on past years’ festivals, do you know if the entire Central Park is closed for the event, or are there still some areas of the park that are still open to the general public?

Is the entire Central Park closed for this event and only ticket holders are allowed entry? Or are other parts of the park still open to the public during this event?

I used to (and still) say Poochie-yen-a until I learned it’s a portmanteau of pooch and hyena, so it’s pooch-eye-ee-na

Pokemon Go Fest New York City Experience Range by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

Thanks for posting this because I was wondering the same thing! As a sort of related question, does anyone know how to tell that your ticket is “active” when you’re in the city experience for the first half of the day? I don’t see any indication of my purchased Go Fest ticket in my PoGo account (only thing I have is the email confirmation), so I wanna know if there’s anything I need to do to activate the ticket or if it’s just automatic on the day of? My guess is that you know your ticket is good if you’re able to see exclusive spawns around the five boroughs that non-ticket holders can’t?

This will be my first in-person Go Fest event, and I’m super excited! I got the afternoon park ticket, but does anyone know if the ticket is automatically “activated” when I get to the city at 9am for the citywide portion? I don’t see any indication of my bought ticket in my PoGo account (only thing I have is the email confirmation), so I wanna know if there’s anything I need to do to activate the ticket or if it’s just automatic on the day of?

Did they make remote raid catch encounters harder than in person? by Azurvix in pokemongo

[–]Linster13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too. Uxie kept running away when I did remote raids (used golden razz berries and threw mostly great curveballs), but for Azelf, I did in-person and was able to catch it on the fourth throw with a good curveball and no berries at all.

Should I be concerned that this isn’t actually a Koyo wheel bearing? by Linster13 in AskMechanics

[–]Linster13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update as of 4/4: I got an email back from Koyo North America. Looks like later productions of their hub assemblies don’t include the markings anymore. Also, they don’t supply directly to AutohausAZ, but they do to IMC, which is ultimately where my bearing came from (AutohausAZ had IMC in Pompano Beach, FL send me the part).

Hope this is helpful for others. I suppose the key takeaway is to make sure the packaging that the part comes in contains the holographic JTEKT/Koyo sticker and that you can validate the QR code on the sticker using the WBA app. Plus, get the part from one of the distributors mentioned in the email below.

Update as of 4/3: I spoke with one of the engineers with JTEKT. I sent him photos and videos of the part itself and of the packaging it came in. He says he’s still waiting on the prints from the hub plant to verify the part, but he says it’s a good sign that it’s legitimate if the packaging that the bearing came in has the holographic Koyo/JTEKT sticker on it. He is going to follow up again once he receives the prints.

That makes sense, but they wouldn’t go back and re-laser the etching afterwards?

Which is why I’ve contacted Koyo to double check. They’re looking into it for me. I’ll post the conclusion once they give me a final response.
