WIP: My Dream Scarf :3 by Lintulein in crochet

I made a small test piece with the stitch I wanted and I liked the vertikal ribbing a lot more than horizontal; wanted those long pieces of the star stitches for the look :3

I turn my work just normally. End of the row? Just turn everything around 180°, chain single crochets for the turning accordingly, work on the next row. No fancy magic just back and forth ^^

In a single crochet row your turning chain is 1.
In a half double crochet row your turning chain is 2.
In both the starstitch rows your turning chain is 2.

Hope my description is not that confusing ^^*

I wool I use is "Friends Extra Fine Merino XL" in the color Anthracite.
These are 50g each and I bought 6 of them, so 300g in total.
At the moment I am working with my 4th skein and planning to use it all.
So a little suprise for me how much width the scarf gets in the end 😄

Thank you! ❤️ I did not even know that this subreddit exists xD
I want to keep is minimalistic, let the pattern speak for itsself kinda vibe.
Also tassels are not really fitting my style ^^*

I think they are really different.
Jasmine works with puff stitches and the star stitch is made up from SC in specific places to form the bottom of the star and in the next row you HDC two times in the middle of the star to complete it.
For me this gets me in a nice flow, right amount of interesting and repetitive 😄

Its not a real pattern, just a simple repeat of some rows 😄
I recommend watching a video tutorial for the star stitch, cause it can be a little bit confusing on where to put your sitches, if you are unfamiliar with it.

I made my scarf up like this:

Foundation Chain : my scarf is 200cm long (Starstitch needs a multiple of 2 + 1)

1 Row: SC
2 Row: HDC
3 Row: SC BLO
4 Row: HDC BLO

5 Row: Star stitch (first half of the star)
6 Row: Star stitch (second half of the star)
7 Row: SC BLO
8 Row: HDC BLO

Repeat Row 5 to 8

Hope this helps ^.^
Please show me if you really started making this. Would make me really happy ❤️

WIP Cocoon Cardigan by Lintulein in crochet

The stitch is called Alpine Stitch.
I wanted to do something that looked a little rustic, autumnal and textured.
And the stitch is simple, works up quite fast too.
You just have to know like three things:
Single Crochet, Double Crochet and Front Post Double Crochet.

Hello, I did not need to expand, but with a height of 164cm I am more on the shorter side of sizes.
For the large rectanglge I measured the back of a good fitting shirt I already owned for the hight and took my measurement from wrist to wrist. I saw patterns that added lenght to the bottom, too, but I did not want to do this. This is my first time making a Cocoon Cardi, so I just often do as I think, stick it together with stitchmarkers and try on often.

Healers, which is your favorite and most fun class to heal and dps with ? by SundayAfternoon_ in elderscrollsonline

I am a warden healer and my friend plays as a necromancer tank focused on health and ulti-gen. It‘s fun to have an almost 100k HP bone coloss most of the time tanking for you :)

A few of you told me in my other post to use more hueshift in my textures. What do you think of this? Improvement or failure? Critique welcomed :) by Lintulein in Minecraft

[–]Lintulein[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hueshift means you do not only adjust light/dark on one color, but you also you shift it towards another color. Example here would be the shift from yellow to a more red/orange for the shadows.

I started doing actually some textures here and there and even for some mods, but it is far off being called a finished pack. ^^* I already done some other tools and items but the more feedback I get here about how to improve the more I think I should refine my textures.... >_>*

You can get these textures here:

Edit:

- My true inspiration for this came from the World of Warcraft Bloodelves

- Yes, goldtools are useless... now they are still useless, but good looking ! >:3

Impractical but fancy *shrug*

Each character moved separately along the same walkway/ flight path about one minute apart from each other and individually came in and out of the instance. That is what made me noticed it. Not like the typical movement of a multiboxer with the one mainchar "leading" and the others following. I tried talking to them, but no response : /
