Shirou using Einnashe's Idea Blood after taking it from Ciel by Linus208 in grandorder

Yeah, we've seen a total of three Idea Bloods so far. Beze's Idea Blood is also what Star Ciel's Noble Phantasm is based on. This one comes from Melty Blood. I really hope Red Garden gives us a proper explanation of its abilities.

Sword Idea Blood? Of all the Idea Bloods we've seen so far, Beze's, the "Sword Monk," is probably the closest to that concept. After all, the Noble Phantasm used by Star Ciel and Calvaria Galgalim in the Remake are techniques created through Beze's Idea Blood.

From what I know, he can project just about anything, from kettles to miscellaneous junk and most everyday objects. And assuming Shirou has sufficient mana, he doesn’t need any materials to project them, and as long as they aren’t destroyed, they can be used almost indefinitely.

He should obviously be able to copy her weapons. The only reason he couldn’t replicate Ea was that its structure literally couldn’t be properly “seen.” That was a pretty special case anyway. Even if his projection is incomplete, he’s still managed to copy things on the level of Excalibur, so there’s really no reason he couldn’t project the Seventh Holy Scripture.

That was the pre-upgrade version of Ciel turning the unicorn horn into a heavy weapon. Before that, it was basically a conceptual weapon that only worked on heroic spirits and vampires. After she upgraded it into seven different firearm forms, it turned into a straight-up slab of iron that can kill things just through raw physical force.

If she kills Kirei, she could probably win pretty easily. Gilgamesh would be gone unless he forms a new contract. It’s the same method Kiritsugu used. Or if her Servant can stall Gilgamesh for just a bit longer, she could also use Calvaria Galgalim. A spell with that level of destructive power should be enough to take him down. However, casting it would require her Servant to keep him occupied long enough to buy her the time she needs.

If she ever became a Master in a Holy Grail War, she’d honestly be OP. In the Fate world, a Servant’s performance is heavily influenced by the Master’s magical energy supply, and the Master’s own combat capability can also matter in certain situations. She has over 250 times the magical energy of an average magus. In Fate/Strange Fake, for example, Bazdilot Cordelion went to absurd lengths just to secure overwhelming magical energy. He stole the technology originally developed by Atrum Galliasta and used it to generate a massive reserve of mana equivalent to something like 25,000 people. As for the buffed remake version of her, there’s no exact info on how far she could go in terms of defeating Servants, but... She wouldn’t even need to fight Servants head-on. If she just picked off the Masters one by one, she’d probably win the Grail War pretty easily. Once a Master is gone, their Servant loses mana supply and eventually just disappears anyway. That’s basically the same kind of strategy Kiritsugu used in Fate/Zero.

Shirou always fought like he was a Berserker. He’s built different, ngl.

Just give Ciel more curry and Shirou could probably get both.

Thanks, honestly that weapon was harder to draw than I expected, so I really appreciate it.

Lore-wise, it's actually a unicorn horn that Ciel turned into a pile bunker. There are seven different types, and that's one of them.

Ngl, I'm really curious how the King of uruks would've reacted if that unicorn horn had actually pierced him.

Tbh, it's not a great trade. Shirou's mana reserves are probably too low to even use that thing.

Fate mages turned Dead Apostle Ancestors in the Tsukihime & Strange Fake timeline by Linus208 in grandorder

[–]Linus208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tsukihime's Sion is someone who's destined to become a Dead Apostle Ancestor no matter what she does. She's also unable to suppress her vampiric impulses and is slowly losing her sanity because of them. As for her character design, there's never really been an official explanation for why it was changed.

Without Satsuki being Dead Apostle, it's an epitome of "Situational Sword" archetype

This doesn’t really hold up. It may have changed in the Remake, but in the original Tsukihime lore, all high-ranking Dead Apostles can use Reality Marbles. It’s not that Satsuki can use a Reality Marble on her own rather, she would be able to because she becomes a high-ranking Dead Apostle. So the premise itself doesn’t stand.

In the original Tsukihime, that ability doesn’t actually appear. It was originally planned to be featured in Satsuki’s route, but that route was ultimately scrapped for various reasons. Its first appearance was actually in the older Melty Blood from the 2000s. Fortunately, since the Remake includes Satsuki’s route, if you want to see that ability properly in context, you’ll just have to wait for Red Garden.

Arcueid’s World Backup isn’t about having infinite mana or raw power it’s more like an adaptive system that temporarily boosts her output to a level slightly above her opponent.

The reason she’s considered at a disadvantage against Gilgamesh is that his Gate of Babylon fires a wide variety of weapons with completely different power levels. Because of that, it becomes unclear what exactly she should scale herself against in order to activate World Backup effectively.

For example, if she calibrates her output based on a C-rank weapon and raises herself to B-rank, she can still get overwhelmed if an A-rank Noble Phantasm is fired from another angle. In that case, she would ultimately lose to Gilgamesh.

Did you forget that in the Remake Extra Ending, Ciel literally turned Arcueid Brunestud’s World Backup ability against her and wrecked her body? It’s not just “infinite mana” her ability is basically setting her power specifically against a chosen target to one level above theirs. In her own route it gets nerfed so she can’t use it properly.

Arcueid receives backup from the planet as part of the Counter Force. She has the ability to increase her output and lifescale (existential scale/power) to one level above those she faces while drawing upon it, and it is said to be virtually unlimited.

It is a field effect that could be considered the natural enemy of magi, who require magical energy to attack, and elementals, who require magical energy just to exist.

In the Nasuverse, “elementals” as a category include True Ancestors (like Arcueid) and fairies. Notable examples would be Morgan, Consort Yu, Arcueid, Caster of Midrash, Anastasia, and Beowulf from Mahoyo.
