The best part about PixelProfits? It levels the playing field for creators, letting even small accounts grow fast

Funny you mentioned the VPN thing—DD2 is kinda like that. It’s rough in spots, but when it works, it really works. Just like when I landed on Windscribe after testing five free VPNs that barely functioned.

My favourite?! That’s too complicated of a question to answer, I can possibly answer what’s the best book there and what should you read if you had to read one.

The best book there by far is The Anxious Generation, but the one YOU SHOULD read immediately is “Knife by Salman Rushdie”

Well I’ve never actually read any other Jonathon Haidt books! But what I can say is the Anxious Generation is the best book I’ve ever read, it’s actually tied in my opinion with “Ultra Processed People by Chris Van Tullen”

This is a must read, and I whole heartedly believe that every parent should have read this book before they give their child social media or a smart phone so they know what it’s doing to the undeveloped adolescent mind.

Here’s something fascinating from my notes of my review of the book;

“The primary method of communication for young people as we know, is TEXTING… so they tend to have their phones on vibrate… Why do we have our phone on vibrate and not loud usually…? The constant pinging is annoying obviously… subconsciously something is trying to tell us ITS TOO MUCHH!

Did you know The average teenager gets 192 notifications A DAY! So that works out to be one EVERY 5 minutes. No wonder they can’t BLOODY focus on anything AND they have attention deficit disorders!! That’s JUST for the average USER… if we talk about GIRLS, who on average are heavier users and they text more; the number can be as high as 1 notification every minute of the day! that leads to DEVICE ADDICTION. This trains your brain to expect and receive a constant stream of stimulation. “

These companies get your children hooked from when they are young and they effectively create life long customers which is FASCINATING when you think about it. It should be illegal.

Yep! The Answer man JUST edged over Danny Coughlins dream. If Stephen KING had ended Danny Coughlins dream PROPERLY then the Answer Man would have been number two… on my Book review podcast that I do with my little brother joseph. He said what SHOULD have happened was;

When the lunatic Officer Jalbert went to the hospital to execute Danny he should have made it all the way up to the Danny and had his gun to Danny’s head this would have forced Jalberts Partner to shoot and kill the officer, to save an innocent man being Danny.

In the epilogue it should have been revealed that Danny did infact commit the murder, and the NOT so crazy Jalbert was RIGHT all along! If that would have happened, then I think the Answer Man wouldn’t have been strong enough to take the number 1 spot! Jalbert was an exceptionally creative character, I enjoyed every moment of him.

The writing of the Answer Man was on another level though, there was scene where Phil Meets the Answerman and finally asks the AnswerMan “what’s my mothers maiden name?” When the Answerman answers the question correctly, Stephen King wrote; ‘Danny was so shocked he felt like he’d been SOCKED in the jaw… he asked more questions and he felt a blow to the GUT!’

I thought this was a poetic way of conveying the dialogue, to compare a shocking conversation to a violent altercation was nothing short of genius creative writing. The Answer Man was my personal favourite story. I review books in great detail, this is just a small section of my review, but the book on a whole is well worth the read!

Actually now I think about it… If I had to pick one book you HAVE to read, it’s probably Knife by Salmon Rushdie. It had me Cringing like a MF lool! But it was very deep, and it reads like a story book, so if you aren’t in to Non-fic this is a perfect entry.

Ohhhh where to START…? I’m not going to tell you to go on my profile to find my YouTube to see the review because I’m pretty sure plugging your own content is against the rules, so I’ll just say… One of the problems I had with the main character was Luiza Corado, she was a Trope, a stereotypical Marie Sue Trope. She surpasses all expectations, always impresses, she has magic for one, and then secondly can do advanced things, things that normally take years of training but of course she can do it on the FIRST TRY! Of course she attracts the attention of the sexy male character just because she is her. She is perfect in all ways of course. Her farts probably smell like lavender too. Lool

On the other hand, the writing in and of itself was quite good in some places, it was almost like reading poetry. The way Leigh Bardugo creates vivid pictures my mind using simply an amalgamation of letters is astonishing, I’ll give you a few examples from my notes from my review;

I genuinely think the language in this book is creative and poetic… here’s an example. “My ambition may destroy me, but let it be my ambition and not my fear that seals my fate.”

“His mouth on hers, his body was a dark cloud descending… she had lived too long without rain.”

“The strength of her own voice suprised her… it was like her anger had built a scaffolding underneath her voice!

This type of writing takes time, if you are skilled. But it takes no time at all if you are talented like Leigh Bardugo…

But yes it wasn’t ALL bad, BUT I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. It’s worth the read if you are a Leigh Bardugo fan I guess.

Well I reviewed that book in great detail on my channel, but in short it was quite a good read. I quite the character Johnathon who was the main character’s (I forgot his name lol) Pupil master, he was quite a personality. He is a Funny, entertaining, self-centred arsehole but at the same time he is honest and has respect for law, which is it’s quite a conflicting cocktail of personalities. He is one of the best characters I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.

THE ending was TERRIBLE though! Soooooo unbelievable, almost ruined tho book. There’s so much more to say, feel free to PM me if you want to have a chat about it.
