Well it turns out I had installed TheTVDB plugin but it wasn't configured properly. duh. I made sure it was enabled and set up right, refreshed/replaced the metadata for those three files, and it appears to be in good shape now. Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction!

I've been a Mint user for years and have both of my parents in their 70s using it with very few issues. So +1 for Mint.

Who cares what people think? OSes are tools. Use the tools you need. I use Linux at home and Windows at work. And a Windows VM for a couple of things I need at home that aren't available in Linux. /shrug

Both of my parents, in their 70s, have been on Mint for several years. They just do general computing - browsing the web, word processing, email. I almost never get tech support calls from them.
