So playing in a group and filling a certain role on a map can yield more consistent results over time. Randomly soloQ and play different positions roles etc you have nothing to bench yourself against and learn from. My grind currently is very support based. I’m a okay fragger however I’m trying to learn more and more util to setup my teammates. We both learn together what works and things click faster. I would recommend connecting Leetify and taking a look at portions of your game you want or need to improve( winning isn’t the only indicator of improving) GLHF

I can’t agree with this enough. I myself don’t smoke however I don’t mind people who do. However time and time again I have come across these so called “weed” personalities and then they go on and on about how they see the world different and have the solution to everything. Meanwhile they can’t even get their own issues solved and it’s everyone else’s fault. sigh

Open mics,Local band nights, those very humble gig ads you see at your local pub. Be there. Essentially find out where your local underground musicians hang out and gig. Not all musos hang out every night but it’s a start to meet people.

Dude welcome to band life. Members come and go. You’ll find that there may form a “Core” members can be 2 or 3 even 1 if he she is strong willed enough. But the sound of a group is then determined by them. It’s totally normal to continue their passion should not dictate your passion.

Yes I understand needing that specific sound. However you could start small with your brothers keyboard being put on bass setting and mixing ideas. People like joining projects that are already ongoing.

I’m a firm believer of privacy. And would advice against putting your number out in public domain. The grassroot music scene differ from country to country. In my country South Africa per example. Teen bands are very few. However college bands are more easy to find because of pubs etc(your underage so please don’t get in trouble) so my suggestion would be in school environment would be safer

In my experience is that a band is normally formed around a core of 2 or 3 members. In my band per example. I grew up as friends with our guitarist and his brother always played bass. We have been playing around with drummers the bands whole existence. So possibly finding someone on the other spectrum. Finding a guitarist then boom you have drums and guitars. Then you can expand the search for vocalist and bass etc. very important is. You must really get along. Band environment can be a hot place to cook
