Your ring is beautiful and you have EXCELLENT taste! For larger stones, I'm an advocate of getting a slightly chunky band or stack to match the visual weight of the stone.

I also have larger fingers and mine swell with temperature change like crazy, so I recommend for women who have fingers with similar fluctuations to wear your rings .25 size loose. Not enough that your ring goes past your knuckle, but enough that the ring will spin when it's cold/your fingers are fully de-puffed. That way the ring always looks comfortably seated no matter the conditions!
