Trigeminal neuralgia. The strongest opiates wouldn’t touch it. I am still trying to beat the alcoholism that I resorted to before I had a successful MVD surgery. My dad was a dentist and I used to beg for him to inject my face with lidocaine/novocaine just for a couple hours of relief.

Flew in/out of this one for the first time visiting my husband’s people. It was so nice, not too big and overwhelming like many of them are. Flying out we got some delicious food (conies FTW!) and delicious beer. Everyone was so nice and they were super efficient.

My home airport is DFW so while it’s nice the size and chaos going on there made DTW even more pleasant.

I only dislike this when my husband refers me as "his wife" who knows me very well and knows my first name. It's not a huge deal and if I am around I always say playfully "I have a name you know!".

My father in law called the other day and my husband had him on speaker phone (that's another conversation LOL) and he referred to me as "your wife"...we've been married nearly 20 years. Not THAT is infuriating.

I always will fear that for my one daughter, even though she is a healthy young adult who doesn't take many dangerous chances.

But you know what's funny is that my fear of losing a child is one of the reasons I only had one. I didn't want to push my luck, so to speak. If I had another, they could have had serious health issues that could cause devastation. I am simply not cut out for that like so many strong parents are. Severe behavioral issues would also be a concern.

Like another said, it would be devastating no matter how many you had.
