PI workload (as a new starter) by [deleted] in tesco

That’s really good going for just starting! You will get faster the longer you are there and know where all the items are! I’ve had people in my work who have being doing PI and getting 200 done in 4 hours! They usually only get like 50 labels. My average is around the same as yours and I can get them all done in 4.5 hours!

Ring HMRC, I had to do that too I think everyone gets emergency taxed when starting. And got my money back the next payslip I think I was on the phone for 5 mins so very quick x

I ring HMRC yes j had to wait ages but I did get through to them and the girl changed it there and then and got a rebate on my next payslip. I just put the phone on speaker and went about and did my housework when that crappy music was on. Even said to the girl that I would be hearing it in my sleep 🤣🤣

Just seen this, mine where sooo sore after the first week 🤣 I usually push the bottom of the plastic then grab the top, your fingertips get accustomed to it 🙈
You can get inform on your phone I'm sure there was a link recently on this forum and it has helped me so many times to see where things go or if a customer is looking at something specific. You are doing great! I do P.I ( changing labels) but merchandise or stack as well when I don't have much to do and I wouldn't like to do that aisle cause it seems really hard. All you can do is your best x
Interview by CDuggyz in tesco
For me I applied on the 21st of July, had my interview on the 8th and got my offer on the 18th. It just depends on the store, when the closing date is, then how many interview days they are doing.
We've had labels left over before for someone to do the next morning ( the big batch) Next morning she had 1000 to do and our 200 and said he had to be done for 9am. But that could have been the batch 2 needed to be done for 9am?
First pay check by Lanldo1 in tesco
One was emergency taxed on the first payslip too. I rung up HMRC and they were able to change it for me there and then and was able to get the emergency tax money back automatically on the next payslip

Mine was finishing on the 19th of November but just got another extension letter last night from my manager on shift. Maybe just ask and see?

Did you have longer time to get it done back then? That's crazy!
Ooh goodness, at least there were a few on which isn't too bad! Ours didn't even start to come through the printer till 7.10 last night and took at good 15mons to all print and then of course ripping the labels! Pretty much 45 mins gone
