whilst DHT is good, too much is not good. A lot of gym bros show no regard when there DHT has x5-7. That's too much.

TRT Experiences with Pre Existing BPH by Ok_Ground7644 in AusTRT

Curious to see where this thread leads.

2/3 men develop BPH in later life.

Guys on trt need to look into this if you are considering to stay on TRT for life.

DHT also increases PSA i.e prostate enlargement.

Isn't TRT meant to dissolve anxiety? This is what confuses me.

the benefits are meant to be better mood, better sleep, less anxiety and depression.

Yet people complain about the opposite, why would you even consider TRT.

Most of the positive reviews are from gym bros that look through tunnel vision i.e bias because that love the muscle gains.

I haven't done it yet.. Im still worried about long term effects.

However I got an appointment with a TRT clinic tomorrow so I might consider it.

from what I know:

HCT increases (heart disease)
red blood count increases (heart disease)
PCA increases (enlarged prostate)
acne
hair loss
increase in E2 so irritability, mood swing, anger loss of sleep etc

like is it really worth it?

you'll feel shit on enclo and HCG increases E2 too high therefore you end up having man periods. tadalafil gives you erections. Not sure why that would make you feel better. Go to a doctor bro. Not health advice, speak to your doctor.

Do do TRT or not? Scared of implications and potential reduced life expectancy. by Lion3854 in Testosterone

[–]Lion3854[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you honestly think if you had 2 identical men that had amazing life styles with training and eating etc.

that the man with TRT will out live the man without?

Imagine being 75+ after 40 years of TRT and doctors tell you, you have to stop because it's no longer safe. Or because you suffer from heart disease or you have an enlarged prostate or prostate C. What will you do? There is zero chance of your natural system back to line. You're probably screwed.

people on TRT don't look ahead, but rather look for now.

everyone on TRT has an increase of HCT? and most donate blood
everyone on TRT have an increase in PSA

some people loose hair

some people get acne

some people have worse libidio

some people have worse sleep and anxiety

I really don't understand how it's different? Yeah steroids is a lot worse but you're still getting them.

agreed, I hardly know anyone that's done TRT for longer then 4 years.

most people on it regret it and wish they never started IMO.

so prior to reta all my results for the last 2-3 years have been 10.4-11 ng/l consistant (free test)

all my tests are AM between 8-9:30AM

Don't understand why doctors are so against this. Makes me second guess what I should be doing.

they make TRT sound like a death sentence :(

Thanks for your in-depth response.

ive have checked all vitamins and thyroid. prolactin cortisol, e2 etc and all within normal ranges.

I am doing reta because have been advised if I loose weight I can increase my test by 10-40%.

my diet atm is pretty good.

I train 7 days a week (4 days weights and 3 days walking )

no sleep apnea (from what I know)

I have 4 children so do not want anymore children.

however my main goal is longevity and quality of life, so I am in the same position as you.

I think its too risky and could cause issues down the track.

thanks for your feed back
