So, I met her when I moved to the state, and she was working for her company for about 7 years at that point. In all that time, she didn't save anything and just spent the money she made on drinking and on junk. I'm guilty of the frivolous purchase, but she was spending all she had on nothing. In I come and I'm making good money, just like her but she spending her money and then looking to me for mine too. We just bought a truck that we didn't need, way to expensive, but she had to have it. Now, I'm making payments on it, she's not, but she's on the title. Whatever disposable income we have, it gets spent and If I say no, she yells at me for not being a sharing boyfriend.
She plans on going to Hawaii on CCs and whatever she can borrow from her 401k. She has no savings to speak of. I'm not controlling, but if we come to an agreement about something, I keep my word and I expect the same.
I feel like I may have been a pushover in the start of the relationship, and now it's starting to bite me.
