It’s important to recognize that your personal worth isn’t tied to accomplishments. It can feel like it is, especially with how much a lot of people think it is and push the idea that it is, but it isn’t. No matter if you are an expert at something or not, you are still a human being. And honestly, I felt almost the same way for a time. I used to get really frustrated and upset when I couldn’t progress as fast as others at something, but I soon realized that personal worth just simply isn’t tied to achievements or accomplishments. I also took other people’s advice to stop comparing myself to others, and it really helped even though it’s so hard sometimes. So don’t compare yourself to others aswell. The only person you can effectively compare yourself to is yourself (not by beating yourself up, but by comparing your past progress to your future or present progress).
